Carol L. Clark: Israel itself is a noble cause and must survive.

I join in sorrow for the young engaged couple murdered yesterday in Washington, DC.

Benjamin Netanyahu is not alone among war criminals during the history of Israel.

To aim surgical attacks upon genocidal terrorists is a proper defense.

Instead, Netanyahu uses Israel's mighty Air Force to inflict tens of thousands of deaths, bombing hospitals, ambulances, humanitarian workers, refugee camps, food logistics, Orthodox Churches, Mosques, bombing into Lebanon.

An untold number of little children have been killed or maimed for life.

Women, children, noncombatants -- all have been targeted and killed, murdered in masses.

Netanyahu's war is a series of horrific war crimes.

Military Doctrine, in compliance with the Geneva/Hague Conventions, would result in decisive victory over Hamas.

The indiscriminate murder of thousands of children is not warfare.

It is massive murder and slaughter.

I agree with you, Armand. Israel is a noble cause. I also think that the Palestinians have as much right to a homeland as the Jewish people. The leaders of both countries are at fault but then there are so many territories all over the world where neighbors cannot help themselves but go to war. I think greed is at the heart of that - what's the difference between

"I want more land" (Hitler) and "I want your company" (America's greenmailers in the 1980s and 1990s) or "I want your areas that enrich your entire country" (Putin).

But who gets hurt? Not just soldiers - small children, women, old men. Lives driven completely off course. And when the armaments land in civilian neighborhoods, and when the war criminals take refuge using those areas to shield themselves from doing the dying and suffering... Yes. You've nailed it - this is mass murder and slaughter and I have taken no sides in this bloodbath. Those leaders on both sides need to be brought before the ICC for war crimes. And Netanyahu is prosecuting this war as much as Trump is leveling his revenge upon us in the U.S. To stay out of jail. So the civilians, the babies, the women, the elderly all suffer to keep these two individuals from being behind bars. And that is really the terrible math of it all.

We are in complete agreement. Thank you for your comment - there is much wisdom in it.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Carol L. Clark: Thank you so very much for the Dialogue.

In my review of history, and in sheer humanity and love of our fellow human beings: Palestine has ever been, and Palestinians are entitled to their full country, as a matter of right.

When I speak of "Israel" and its survival, I am speaking of Judaism.

Under long and severe historical conditioning, their has been an annihilistic HATRED of Jews, EUROPE has FORFEITED ITS RIGHT as a Jewish homeland.

In my love of Judaism, I would WELCOME the entire population of the World's Jews in America. We have so much land -- Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas -- that resembles Israel.

The Foundation of the country of Israel is in European colonialism.

As early as the 1890s, Kaiser Wilhelm wanted to promote Zionism as a way of spreading German culture.

In 1916, in the middle of the Great War, Colonel Tatton Benevuto Mark Sykes (6th Baronet, 1879-1919) and François Georges-Picot (1870-1951) formed the Sykes-Picot Treaty, which gave the Great Powers' conceived solution to a Jewish homeland.

I have studied the situation, but I do not know the motives of the two great diplomats nor of the instructions they received from their own countries.

But at a time when Jews formed a mere droplet in the population of a sea of native Palestinians, the two colonialist diplomats came up with a solution forced upon Palestine.

Namely, there would be, in the nomenclature of the Sykes-Picot Treaty, the Jews and there would be some rights for the "non-Jewish" population.

Mark the excentric language of the Sykes-Picot Treaty. The Jewish and the "Non-Jewish Population."

The reality was, Palestine was inhabited by THE PALESTSINIANS. Mostly Muslim. Many Eastern Orthodox or Eastern Rite Catholics. But 100% Palestinians and Arabs.

In 1916, the Jewish population of population was nigh non-existant.

Of course, when anti-Semitism culminated in the unheard of proportions of the great furnaces and the Holocaust, intent on murdering all Jews, the European problem became acute.

This was not a "Jewish" Problem.

This was a EUROPEAN PROBLEM.

The EUROPEAN and AMERICAN PROBLEMS still exist and rage.

That problem is raging, murderous anti-Semitism.

Which mandated that Jews must have a safe haven.

Why?

Because in America and Europe, vile anti-Semitism raged and murdered.

So, after the Shoah, the Holocaust, the wholesale murder of 6 million Jews in the ovens (a total, do not forget, of circa 15 million minorities murdered in the concentration camps, INCLUDING the 6 million Jews), the Jews MUST HAVE A SAFE HOMELAND.

By all rights, that homeland SHOULD HAVE BEEN EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES.

HATRED drove Jews out for sheer survival!

It is because of European and American fault that the Jewish homeland is not, as by the laws of nature it should have been, in Europe and America.

But because of HATRED -- a breach of the very laws of nature -- against JEWS, they were FORCED into a homeland.

I do not believe the Bible, and do not believe King David or any Biblical source gives Jews a right to Palestine.

Any more than Ancient Germanic myth would give the Germans, Dutch, Scandinavians the right to conquer the vast Russias to recover the ancient lands from which the ancient Germanic tribes wandered.

It is just that MURDER forced the issue.

The result is EXCRUCIATING for Palestine.

Since 1948, the year of my own birth, Palestinians -- good, good people, have been evicted from their homeland.

Menachim Begin was among warriors who committed war crimes in 1948, sometimes wiping out whole villages, kind of like the crimes of Lieutenant William Calley in My Lai.

Benjamin Netanyahu has (1) Funded Hamas indirectly; (2) Pursued AGGRESSIVE settlements in Palestinian areas; and (3) Vowed to take Gaza for Israel.

And again: The horrific war crimes.

Simply put: Crimes against humanity in murder of tens of thousands of noncombatants, prominently women and children; hospitals; refugee camps; food logistics; places of worship . . .

Quite in line with this, President Ronald Orange-Tramp wants to make Gaza one-large Mary-Lego Beach Hotel and Tramp-with-Raised-Fist-Cryptocurrencies.

All one happy paradise for Aryan-Supremacists who will enrich Tramp-Cryptocurrencies and SPEND, SPEND, SPEND on President Tramp's newly developed beachfront properties.

That is Tramp's dream.

Hopefully, it will never develop.

But the perverse rotations of American and European politics make me wonder.

I would have hoped we would have learned after WWII; after Eleanor Roosevelt had laid out the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; and after the great Civil Rights Movement -- THE moral movement of our time.

But we have reverted to Jim Crow.

The Palestinians have always had, and still have a right to their homeland.

The Jews had a right to their American and European homelands, but America and Europe in cruelty yielded the right to a Jewish homeland, with a result that Preserves Israel, but is WRONG AND PERSECUTES PALESTINE.

It is cruel, immoral, and only made worse in wars conducted, not against the isolated, murderous terrorists, but against NONCOMBATANT POPULATIONS, the Palestinians, over 90% of whom are good, beautiful persons who have a right to a full, human culture.

I have long sorrowed for the suffering of the Palestinian people.

I know as an unprejudist non-Jew can be how much tragedy throughout the entire history of Western civilization they've suffered. When I first got to my dorm as an 18-year-old midwestern bundled WonderBread white, I met my first adult best friend, Marion. She said she was Jewish and asked if I believed that she killed Christ. That idea is patently insane, and I never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. Who spreads this crap and why? I only had reference to the Holocaust and why that wasn't enough to cure hatred is as mysterious as anything I can think of.

I thank you for passing on your historical facts, well beyond anything I've heard or learned elsewhere. But I tell you and anyone else, anyone who has learned of the Holocaust ought to be immune to hatred of anyone - religious, tribal, gender, racial...whatever. That chapter is among the worst imaginable portraits as there can be of the depths of hatred, depravity, sheer genocidal path some humans can take, which makes horrific the current turn of events in the U.S.

Thank you, Armand, for educating me. Have a wonderful, safe weekend and holiday and let's all get out and give Trump and the billionaires ready to jump Trump's ship just how they have crossed every line possible.

Be well.

Carol L. Clark: Totally agree, and, HERE you state one of our SHARED core beliefs:

" But I tell you and anyone else, anyone who has learned of the Holocaust ought to be immune to hatred of anyone - religious, tribal, gender, racial...whatever."

THAT is the PRE-EMINENT CORE VALUE.

Whew! You stated that SOOOOO very well!
