Carol L. Clark: You state it so well with deadly accuracy here:
"What to women is so singular about both the top and bottom of the GOP ticket is their “thing” about us. The top guy routinely gropes, assaults, peeps, and rapes women. The bottom guy hates working women, “cat ladies,” and opposes divorce insisting that women stay in abusive marriages “for the sake of the kids.” Well, that’s really just a free pass to beat his wife when he feels ornery.
"The current joke is that this ticket swears they’ll protect women. "
Thank you, Manuel. I published a piece yesterday about a chapter in Project 2025 that discloses their plan to abolish the Federal Reserve and privatize monetary policy partially based on reinstating the gold standard as the backing for the U.S. dollar to control inflation. This would result in a windfall for "gold bugs" and bypass the Fed's agility and flexibility to print or reduce circulating money to adjust as emergencies appear and retreat. In addition to abolishing the Bill of Rights, these people want to hand Trump policy control. It's title is "Project 2025: Scrap the Fed.
Carol, it is all very confusing: the gold standard, the Fed, cryptocurrency...Does an economy of scarcity enable greedy pursuers of power? I will look up your post, thanks.
These times are very confusing and everything appears to be up for grabs. Our form of government, the federal judiciary, our economic system...it's all on the ballot. The GOP are who've created this witch's brew and why? Don't tax me. That's on purpose. I'm not a great expert on financial matters, just observations from many years of watching and thinking. Regarding scarcity? Yes, it is propagated by the greedy power seekers and perpetuated. Ayn Rand advised it. I hope my piece on their targeting the Fed explains what I've observed. I included citations to the articles I researched and I watched as Ben Bernanke cut interest rates to the banks and the bankers funneled huge bonuses to themselves and charged those with excellent credit ratings over 11% interest...while they got that .25%.
My next door neighbor doesn't have a Trump sign. Almost worse, if possible - they have a Stefanik sign. She, too, is simply vile.
Thanks, David. Best to you and your wife, Carol.
Carol
Thank you Lorraine for restacking. All the best to you.
Thank you Carol.
A great and worrisome post.
Worrisome because you are so accurate re the possibility that our worst fears may come true.
To anyone: if T wins and you are a reasonably informed citizen and you passed on voting ~ ask yourself how you would feel then. Please.
Thank you, Susan. Let’s put an end to all that SEI crap. Everyone’s SEI.

As always, Armand, thank you. It's a pretty hideous life Vance thinks appropriate for women.
Take good care of yourself.
Unsettling yet needed read. Thank you.
